Southwest Vina is one of processers and exporters of Fish Meal ( Marine, Tra/ Basa fish) in Vietnam. The rapid growth in the aquaculture in the recent years and expected for the future in our country are needed to supplement a large amount of fish meal for processing feed. Nowadays, Fish meal has been considered a key and played an important role in setting up a diet for some kinds of fishes. Studying the properties of fish meal help to evaluate exactly the quality and it is the base to establish an optimal diet for fishes. Some propertiesof fish meal ranging from 57% - 60% crude protein indicated 7.22% - 10.11% moisture, bulk density varies among 0.45% - 0.60% . Containing 4.92% - 7.89% crude lipid, 18.25% - 24.23% crude ash an also an excellent source of essential amino acids.
