Membrane filters or " membranes" are polymer films with specific pore ratings. Membranes retain particles and microorganisms that exceed their pore ratings by acting as a physical barrier and capturing such particles on the surface of the membrane.
Advantec MFS membranes are manufactured in ISO 9001 certified facilities and certification is available upon request.
Advantec MFS membranes are available in a variety of polymers, pore sizes, diameters, and surface types. Most membranes can be sterilized by autoclaving.

Cellulose Acetate, Pore Size : range 0.2 - 3.0 ¼ m

Hydrophilic PTFE, Pore Size : range 0.1 - 1.0 ¼ m
Hydrophobic PTFE, Pore Size : range 0.1 - 3.0 ¼ m
Supported Hydrophobic PTFE, Pore Size : range 0.2 - 1.0 ¼ m
