BACKGROUND OF POULTRY AND FISH FEED:

Poultry and Fish Feed sector appeared to be the most attractive sector as Bangladesh is predominantly an agricultural based economy and yet there exists very few organized support industries in this sector. Lately, the Government of Bangladesh ( GOB) is encouraging setting up of Poultry and Fish Feed , Fish culture, poultry and dairy in organized industrial form; and in the background of the huge population and unprecedented GOB support, a quantity of Fish and Animal feed manufacturing projects emerged as the most suitable area of investment. Subsequently, the promoters have carried out an exclusive research on the fisheries and dairy industries and found out that these sectors have failed to grow rapidly due to lack of quality & balanced feed. As profit margin for dairy feed is minimum at this time, the promoters want to produce initially Poultry and Fish Feed and at a later stage will go into combination of all kinds of feed based on market conditions. The proposed machinery will give maximum flexibility for doing so. Apart from that the promoters have a feed manufacturing industry which gives the promoters versatile experiences in feed business and production.
