eTrex H mempunyai kemampuan penangkapan sinyal yang cepat ( high-sensitif) , penerima sinyal satelit akan cepat dan stabil walaupun digunakan pada keadaan yang tidak memungkinkan, seperti di disamping pohon atau gedung.

Dengan ukuran yang kecil dan berat yang cukup ringan Garmin eTrex H sangat mudah digunakan, apalagi dengan menu bahasa Indonesia.
