The EW-990 is a new range of hardness testers to enhance the current range of CV Instruments hardness testing machines. The EW-990 is a video based universal hardness tester offering Rockwell, Vickers and Brinell ( 250Kg) with the added accuracy of a closed-loop system.

The EW-990 features a combination of advanced optics with a high quality video imaging and a MS Windows driven industrial computer. A 12� touch screen gives a good overview of settings and test results and eliminates parallax when measuring the image.

* Test loads between 9.804 N and 2451 N ( 1 to 250) with a precision of 0.1% over 3 million divisions, reproducibility never reached before in a similar application
* Depth readings ( Rockwell or Ball indentation) with a sensor accuracy of 0, 1 micron also during automatic measurements
* Work piece clamp included
* Computerised tester working status overview with visual and acoustic warning signals
