VIMBA MK4 is a three-tier locking system with a four-way lever arming mechanism. This lock is designed for less vulnerable risk applications. The instrument consists of a reverse-threaded protective cap (first tier), screw lock (second tier) and a teardrop spindle (third tier). Disarming the locking mechanism requires removal of the protective cap using a specially designed lock release tool, thus exposing the screw lock. The screw lock is removed with a double entry key revealing the teardrop spindle (tier three). To open the door, the teardrop spindle is unlocked using a unique teardrop key and this releases the four-way lever mechanism.
