Evita 4 edition is designed to accommodate patients from neonate to adult. With a wide range of options, it allows you to handle ever-changing patient populations and situations with a single solution. For example, the NeoFlowâ„¢ option offers flow measurement at the Y-piece for precise volume and leak monitoring of neonates with accurate, responsive triggering based on patient effort.

The automatic compensation of leaks allows for direct adjustment of tidal volume down to 3 mL. Also, for synchronization of the ventilator with the individual efforts of the patient, leak flow is automatically compensated. As a result, pressure support of spontaneous breathing is possible for neonates as well. The leak flow is monitored and is shown as a leakage minute volume. Compensation is carried out up to 50% of the set minute volume.
