The PEF-301 offers the simple way to enhance reliability of single-phase receivers service and to protect them from untolerable variations in mains voltage.
An universal automatic electronic phase switch PEF-301 is designed to activate an industrial/appliance single-phase load 220V/50Hz from a three-phase four-wire power line 3x380+N to maintain the continuity of extra vital single-phase receivers service and to protect them from untolerable variations in mains voltage. With this purpose a single phase receiver connects to the three-phase power line through the PEF-301. By three-phase voltage existence/voltage quality monitoring the PEF-301 will automatically select the optimum phase and enables a single-phase load to be high-speedy activated from this phase. The phase priority is provided, i. e. if the load had been transferred to a reserve phase then after the priority phase voltage values regenerated, the load will automatically be transferred back to the user-preset priority phase.
Any power single-phase load is activated through the PEF-301:
If power is less than 3,5 kWt (16A), the load is activated from the PEF-301 directly;
If power is more than 3,5 kWt (16A), the PEF-301 controls magnetic starter coils of the corresponding power (MS are not supplied in the complete set).
The PEF-301 has the adjustments as follows:
The trip Umin range: from 160 to 210 V;
The trip Umax range: from 230 to 280 V;
The automatic reset delay after the load deactivation when at least one phase voltage parameters regenerated. Also the initial load activation delay upon application of a voltage to the input terminals of the PEF-301: from 5 to 250 sec.
