Manikin structure
The baby’ s head neck, arms and legs are active, which makes the baby manikin more alike to a real baby .
The baby has two covers ( one cover is for baby girl, the other is for baby boy) with several self – gripping fasteners, so the cover is very easy to remove and replace.
All the reservoirs are connected to the baby with a connectors

Direction for Use
1. Scalp venipuncture and injection
There is an injection pad on baby’ s head for scalp veinpuncture and injecton training. To remove pad, squeeze pad with fingers and pull; to replce, squeeze pad and insert in opening. The injection pad only be injected with water, foam should be removed from pads immediately following training, squeeze out fluid and air dry.
2. Umbilical vein injection
Infant umbilical vein injection can be demonstrated on the manikin. Trainee should practice according to the standard processes
3. Nasal Feeding
Nasal feeding can be practiced on the baby manikin. Stomach tube should be lubricated before insert. Training should absolutely according to standard procesess , and take the baby manikin as real patient. The stomach should be removed from manikin, inverted, drained and completely air-dried before storing.
4. Lavage
Lavage can be praticed on the baby manikin, trainee can insert the stomach tube both from mouth and nasal. The tube should be lubricated before insert , the stomach should be drained and completely air dried before storing.
5. Urethral Catherization
Urethral Catherization can be praticed on the manikin. Remove the simulated bladder, pour warm soap water, reattach bladder at connector.
Lubricate the catheter before inserting. The catheter may “ hang� after several uses, because water has washed away lubricants, which cause friction and binding , If this occurs, generously lubricate the catheter and insert into urethra several times. If catheter hanges during removal, work it with an “ In and Out� motion. Drain and air dry bladder after every training.
6. Enema
Enema can be practiced on the baby manikin. Remove simulated intestine, pour 100ml water, and then reattach intestine at connector. Operate enema according to standard processes. Remoove simulated intestine from the rectum, drain any remaining liquid after exercis, and air – dry before replace in the manikin.
7. Ostomy drainage care
Oral cavity intubations can be practiced on the baby manikin, practice according to satndard intubation sprocesses, the duct should be lubricated before insert.
8. Thigh musle injection
There is one injection pad in the baby manikin thigh for muscle injection training, to remove pads, squuze pad with finger and pull. To Replace, squeeze pad and insert in opening.
The injection pads only be injected with water, foam pads immediately following training, squeeze out fluid and air dry.
9. General care, bath , suckling, changing clothing and diaper.
Many general cares can be demonstrated on the baby manikin, such as bath, suckling, changing clothing and diaper, and so on. Take the baby manikin as a real baby when practice.
