MASSIVE 10" DAMASCUS KNIFE

This fantastic bowie will stand out in the crowd of any knives. This bowie was totaly handmade by Michael Klaas, Spain. The blade of this beast is made of high quality damascus steel 1095 and 15N20 ( 512 true layers) forge welded damascus steel with finest rain drop pattern. The overall length of this bowie is whopping 20 inches and the length of the blade is 13.5" . Blade is extremely thick and heavy ( 6.5mm) which has been specially forged to give this bowie extra strength, striking power and durability. The blade of this knife has achieved Rockwell hardness of 59� in the lab. Blade has an excellent double side grinding with the top side left with a false edge. There is stunning FILE WORK along the spine and that file work continues down the handle as well, creating an awesome detail and beauty. The handle, made of the most prestigious sambar stag. Handle also has beautiful black fiber lining which offers an amazing details which appeals to any knife enthusiast. The handle has a stunning massive BRASS GUARD and POMMEL which has a nice high polished glitter and glow. The guard is made of 5 layers ( two brass layers, two black Fiber layers and 6 mm thick 440 Stainless steel) . This details a gorgeous work full of skill, hardwork and imaginations. The guard has very nice file work as well. The handle has very heavy and thick bolsters which also comprise of several layers. Holding this bowie is a wondrous feeling. The weight of this bowie alone is 1410 grams and with leather sheath this bowie weighs 1650grams.

FULL TANG construction, very thick blade and excellent HRC of the blade gives this massive bowie a great weight, balance, strength, durability and performance.

This great bowie is complete with a specially designed custom leather sheath made of a very thick original calf skin. This leather sheath has also been hand tooled and hand sewn specifically for this knife with extra strong stitching, giving it extra reinforcement for long wear. Sheath has been back looped letting you wear the knife in comfort on your belt for easy access for right or left handed use.
