LETTERS OF CREDIT

All instruments are fully collateralized and can be issued from a number of financial institutions via Swift MT760, MT799 or hard copy via bonded courier, as required. With an LC you donâ € ™ t need to take the risk of making payment in advance of shipping and youâ € ™ re less exposed to non-performance. You can define the basis on which your suppliers are paid, define shipping and payment dates and gain more control over your inventory and cash-flow. In most circumstances, if payment is made before 10am, your documentary letter of credit ( DLC) can be issued within 72 hours. Our DLCs convey the following benefits for our clients:
BUYERS: Are you using your own cash before receiving your goods? When you open an LC through Barley Trade Finance, you donâ € ™ t need to use your own cash until after your goods have arrived, leaving your capital free so that you can acquire more stock and increase your overall trading capacity.
