A Bluetooth connection to the receiver means you've got a cable-free, wearable GPS solution — no more snagging cables when moving through difficult terrain or getting in and out of a vehicle. You can connect to a range of peripherals using Bluetooth wireless technology, and access local area networks, e-mail and the internet using a wireless LAN connection.

The built-in wireless LAN can also be used with TrimPixâ„¢ technology to connect to a range of Wi-Fi capable Nikon digital cameras for automated capture of digital images.
