Brief Profile of Wal-Chem Corporation Wal-Chem Corporation was established in 1999, as a proprietorship Company with an idea to establish in Chemical business mainly in trading and indenting of chemicals out of India. It was backed with ownerâ € ™ s wide experience in chemicals. Mr. S.N.WAHAL â € “ owner having experience of 25 years in chemicals And lastly served TATA Chemicals Ltd as Dy. Marketing Manager. In Tata Chemicals Ltd he was responsible for all India sales and Looking after regional sales offices at Chennai, Delhi Calcutta etc. In Tata Chemicals Ltd who manufactures Soda ash, Caustic soda Cement and Salt. Their after resigning form Tata Chemicals joined Guljag Industries Ltd as vice president doing international trading in 1996. They were having their sister concern Snud Impex Ltd at Singapore who were co-ordinating with parent company Guljag Industries Ltd. Main Imports of chemicals were form China, Iran, Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan, Korea and middle east.-Dubai Main products were Normal Butanol, Iso Butanol, Methylene Chloride, Vinyl acetate Monomer, Cuastic soda Flakes, caustic soda Liquid, Sulphur. Exports were to Indonesia, China, Africa etc. S.N.WAHAL was deeply involved in imports and exports, which comprise of contacting manufacturers and Buyers in INDIA as well as Foreign Buyers. He was having close co-ordination with Banks in India as well as in other countries. This resulted in to a wide exposure to Mr. S.N.Wahal in India as well as in foreign markets. Having gained experience in International trade, s.n.wahal established his own company Wal-Chem Corporation in 1999. In Wal-Chem Corporation main activities were of indenting thru china and other countries like Iran, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Iran. Products involved were: Imports- 1. Dubai, during this period. This has further given International exposure and widely travelled to China, U.A.E, Egypt, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangladesh and Korea During this period sales in India could not be concerned due to the reason of having mainly connected for exports form INDIA. Now again activated its business in INDIA form 2005 April, and have done reasonable business of chemicals form China etc. | ||
