Phenol formaldehyde solid resin
It's one of the most popular condensation polymers. They are widely used in industry because of their frame and chemical resistance, electrical insulation, and dimensional ability. Phenol formaldehyde resins are usually made from the condensation polymerization of phenol and formaldehyde, in basic condition which gives them another name, novolac.
Application:
1. Production of phenolic moulding powder.
2. Can be used in solid form or alcoholic solution for precoated sand (Foundry resin).
3- As resin in liquid form or powder form to be used as bonding agent for making grinding wheels and fraction martial (brake lining/clutch )
4- Adhesives for metal Parts to glass Parts (cement capping lamp)

Properties:-
Appearance: Clear white - yellow - crushed lumps
Melt – zone: 75C - 85C (or as required)
Volatile matter: 2% (max)
