GARGATTI ELECTROPLATERS Home Page Company Profile Showroom Hydraulic Products & Equipment About Us When you have problems with your hydraulic rams, we can provide you with a quick and cost effective solution. No matter how severely damaged your hydraulic ram may be, we can provide you with a repair solution in our fully equipped engineering workshop. We can quickly manufacture replacement parts. Our materials and seals are obtained directly from the manufacturers; this means that we can repair rams from any type or make of equipment. Whatever your plant, we can handle it all. We can repair practically any type, make or size of hydraulic ram. All hydraulic rams brought in for repair are dismantled and assessed; we then prepare a fixed price quotation for the work required. If replacement parts are required, we manufacture them in-house from our stocks of quality materials. This way we do not have to rely on obtaining expensive parts from the maker or suffer the inevitable delays that would ensure. The materials used are exactly the same as those the original manufacturer used to make your ram in the first place. We know we also manufacture quality rams. We procure from the very best seal suppliers in the business and fit only equivalent or better quality seals to the rams we repair. Our cylinder honing capacity is amongst the best; this allows us to offer you more options for the repair of badly secured cylinder bores. We offer durable hard chrome plating for longer life and better wear resistance for components such as off-shore and heavy equipment hydraulic rods and tubes; rolls for all industries, especially paper and printing rolls which can be finished up to 2 RMS; and other components such as spindles, journals drive shafts. Cylindrical Grinding Cylindrical, precision grinding involves supporting the roll, shaft or drum either between machined centers or directly on the roll' s bearings surfaces. The outside diameter of the roll is then precision ground using appropriate grinding wheels. Critical to the roll grinding operation is basic knowledge such as the construction of the roll, wall thickness, deflection characteristics and the base metal material. Machining We accommodate Heavy Shafts Cylinder Tube Tie Rods, Rams on our Heavy Duty Lathe machine and have highly skilled manpower to man these jobs. We have custom made milling attachments, drilling attachments so that key ways, slots, drilling can easily be done in one setting. Honing We have installed custom built heavy duty Hydraulic Honing Machine that can accommodate heavy cylinders and large bore that needs precision size and surface finish. Hard Chrome Plating We are one of the largest Hard Chrome Platers in North Karnataka, established in the year 1974 by late Nirmalkumar Gargatti. We offer industrial hard chromium plating. Hard chromium plating, as the name implies, is extremely hard ( 68-70 Re as deposited) and as such is suitable for a wide variety of industrial applications that require resistance to wear. It is also the finest metal deposition to utilize when specifications call out for very low smoothness characteristics on the roll face. Salvage Plating - Reconditioning of Worn Parts We provide reconditioning of worn components for many different industrial uses. We handle both small parts and reconditioning of parts. In addition to heavy deposit salvage plating, we provide auxiliary services of grinding and honing. Why buy new when one can recondition a worn part with 72 RWC hard treatment and have it wear many times.
